Ana Julaton Beats Jessica Villafranca, Retains Her WBO Crown
Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton triumphs against Jessica Villafranca in their boxing fight last Friday (Saturday in Manila), September 30, at the Polifuncional Sports Complex in Yucatan, Mexico via unanimous decision - 98-91, 96-93 and 97-92.
The 31-year-old Pinay boxer defended her World Boxing Organization (WBO) female super bantamweight crown from the 18-year-old female Mexican boxer.
Julaton, who is also being trained by World Boxing Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, has now a record of 10 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw.
While Villafranca dropped to a 12 wins, 4 losses, 0 draw record with 6 of her wins coming by way of knockout.
