‘Nasaan Ka Elisa?,’ A Consistent Primetime Favorite

Now on its fifth week on air, “Nasaan Ka Elisa?” continues to hook many Filipinos with its at-the-edge-of-your-seat offering every night.

That’s why its lead actress Melissa Ricks has become extremely passionate for her challenging portrayal as Elisa.

“Nasaan Ka Elisa?” still dominates primetime as it obtained a total of 24.4% in the ratings game against the competitor’s 20.6% last Monday, October 3.

The hit teleserye remains at the fourth place of Kantar’s list of most appreciated TV programs, alongside “100 Days To Heaven” (32.4%), “TV Patrol” (29.9%) and “My Binondo Girl” (27.6%).

Melissa shared that to be the Philippine counterpart of Elisa is one of the biggest breaks she had as an actress. She said she couldn’t ask for more. Another thing she’s very grateful for is having the chance to work with the country’s premier actors.

Amid all the controversies labeling her as a late-bloomer compared to her celebrity friends in her girl group ChiuRiGoGoBaSchu, Melissa believes that her breaks in show business always come at the right time - when she’s prepared to take the challenges that come with it.

I’m ready to shock yet enthrall everyone. I’m ready to use the acting skills I’ve learned in the course of over eight years I’m in this business. I will give everything I’ve got for ‘Nasaan Ka Elisa?’,” Melissa said.

Besides her Primetime TV stint, Melissa is currently busy in her other projects. She’s also a mainstay in “ASAP Rocks,” airing every Sunday, where she confirms her well-roundedness as a TV personality.

For avid viewers of “Nasaan Ka Elisa?,” who are in their search for the missing Elisa, Melissa says “follow your heart” and you’ll surely find me.” So, where is Elisa?

Next week on “Nasaan Ka Elisa?,” Dana (Agot Isidro) and Mariano (Albert Martinez) are forced to identify a body in the morgue that could be Elisa. Vivian (Mickey Ferriols) finds out what husband Joey (Christopher Roxas) has been hiding. Her past addiction also starts to resurface. Mariano takes the investigation into his own hands and begins to pursue some leads of his own. NBI gets a lead that causes them to put an end to an organized criminal organization.

Cecille (Vina Morales) deals with demons from her past when a chance encounter causes her to recall unpleasant memories. The NBI finds another lead and a witness comes forward claiming he saw Elisa.

Dana receives a call from Elisa but the line was cut. Will they be able to trace the call and be back on the right track in their search?

Nasaan Ka, Elisa?, airs Mondays through Fridays, after “My Binondo Girl” on ABS-CBN. Bida Best Kapamilya!
