SM Pampanga Shooting Incident: 13-year-old Boy Shoots 16-year-old Male Lover


A 13-year-old boy shot his alleged 16-year-old male lover in the head before shooting himself using a caliber .22 pistol inside SM Pampanga in San Fernando City at 11:45 a.m yesterday, September 21.

According to Pampanga provincial police director Senior Superintendent Edgardo Tinio, the two victims (names withheld because they are minors) were seriously injured in the incident that happened in front of Astrovision store at the mall’s Building 3.

They were first rushed to Jose B. Lingad Hospital in San Fernando City. Then the younger victim was later transferred to the intersive care unit (ICU) of San Fernandino Hospital’, while the other was brought to V.L. Makabali Hospital.

Supt. Wilson Santos of Mexico, Pampanga police said it could have been a crime of passion and that the two male teenager seemed to have a romantic relationship based on the suicide note of the shooter that says "he is willing to die with him". While a card was recovered from the 16-year-old, which gave details about their relationship

As of latest report by ABS-CBN, Dr. Alfonso Danac, head of emergency room of Jose B. Lingad Hospital in San Fernando City announced that both victims of the shooting incident were declared brain dead.

Dr. Eric Salas of San Fernandino Hospital, the attending physician, said the family of the 13-year-old boy decided to remove his life support tube. They also decided to donate his vital organs.





Latest update:

Both victims are now dead according to reports. The 13-year-old boy was declared dead before 3 p.m., while the 16-year-old boy died at around 11 p.m. yesterday, September 21, after their respective families decided to have their life support tube removed. Both their vital organs will be donated.
