Truly there is no professional rivalry between real-life sweethearts Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes although their current movies are both official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2011.
Marian is Senator Bong Revilla's leading lady in "Panday 2" while Dingdong is Kris Aquino's leading man in "Segunda Mano" showing now in movie theaters nationwide.
"Nasa pag-uusap yun ng dalawang tao. Kahit na maraming nakapaligid sa 'yo, at maraming nasasabi, ang importante kayo ang nagkakaintindihan at strong ang love niyo para sa isa't isa. Ito naman ay isang healthy competition lang. Dapat matuwa tayo dahil ang mga Pilipino talaga ay mahuhusay gumawa ng mga pelikula," Marian told the press during "Panday 2" presscon on December 14.
To show her love to him, Marian promised to watch Dingdong's movie but only after watching her own film.
"After ko manood ng 'Panday.' papanoorin ko rin 'yung sa kanila," she said.
