My Binondo Girl Finale Trends Worldwide on Twitter

ABS-CBN television series “My Binondo Girl” trended worldwide on Twitter as it aired its final episode on Friday.

Concluding the show, all the existing conflicts were resolved. Despite the challenges in their relationship, Jade (Kim Chiu) and Andy (Xian Lim) still ended up together and got married.

The show’s grand finale gained the attention of netizens, who took their love for the show to Twitter.

The hashtag #MyBinondoGirlFinale was ranked as the top local and worldwide trending topic on Twitter at around 10:30 p.m.

A number of Twitter users extended their congratulations to the cast and crew of “My Binondo Girl” for the success of the show.

Twitter user EthelMEspiritu posted, "Congrats to all the cast, staff and crew. #MyBinondoGirlFinale."

"‘Wala na akong masabi. Congratulations My Binondo girl! The trending says it all... #mybinondogirlfinale #TheDragonFinale”, user siJonahako tweeted.

Others expressed how much they will miss the show now that it has reached its end.

Twitter user siJonahako said, “Waiting for #MyBinondoGirlFinale. Nakakalungkot naman :'( mami-miss ko ang #Jandi. @xianlimm.”

In an earlier interview, Chiu said the end of "My Binondo Girl" feels bittersweet.

"Malungkot na masaya. Pero ganoon talaga lahat ng show kailangang matapos. So nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng sumuporta at gabi-gabi ay nandiyan sila," she said.

Chiu also extended her appreciation to all her fans and avid viewers of the series for making it No. 1 in the ratings.

"Sa mga fans, maraming salamat. Taos puso akong nagpapasalamat dahil taos puso niyong tinanggap si Jade Dimaguiba, ang 'My Binondo Girl' sa bahay niyo gabi-gabi," she added.

After "My Binondo Girl," Chiu and Lim are set to do a movie together.
