Christian Bautista Deported from Indonesia

Pinoy multi-platinum recording artist and actor Christian Bautista, who is also a well-known personality in other countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, was reportedly deported from Indonesia Friday afternoon, January 27, after being held in the immigration office of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport for 2 hours.

According to a news posted at Jakarta Post website, the singer was caught violating immigration rules by using his visiting visa to work.

Christian reportedly arrived in Jakarta on Wednesday, January 25, with a 30-day visiting visa but the immigration office found him holding a concert at Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang on that very same day.

However, Christian's talent management agency STAGES denied the report saying whatever immigration problems encountered by the singer were legally settled. And to further disproved the report, they also revealed that Christian is scheduled to return in Indonesia next month for a Valentine show at Hotel Mulia.
