After months of search, GMA-7 introduces the two men who will become Marian Rivera's love interests in the "Amaya" during the epicserye's story conference yesterday at GMA-7 compound.
First is former Kapuso-turned Kapamilya-now back as Kapuso actor Sid Lucero.
Sid had a long list of TV projects in the Kapamilya network - Kung Fu Kids, Ligaw Na Bulaklak, Flash Bomba, Gaano Kita Kamahal, Dahil May Isang Ikaw, Magkano ang Iyong Dangal?, Habang May Buhay, at the recently concluded Precious Hearts Romanace Presents Alyna where he played as Shaina Magdayao's leading man. He also became one of the nominees in the Best Actor category of Emmy Awards for his challenging role in Dahil May Isang Ikaw.
But long before he transferred to ABS-CBN, Sid once starred in several GMA-7 soaps like Narito ang Puso Ko, Hanggang Kailan, Darna (2005), and Etheria.
Next in the list is newbie Mikael Daez.
23-year-old Mikael is a professional ramp and commercial model connected to Mercator Model and Talent Agency - the same company who is handling the careers of Brazilian-Japanese hunks Akihiro Sato, Daniel Matsunaga, Fabio Ide and Hideo Muraoke.
Mikael, who got the role after he auditioned, is a graduate of Business Administration at the Ateneo de Manila University. He have done several print ads and TV commercials like Jollibee Champ, Dole, and SM.
But before the "Amaya" project, Mikael and Marian will be first paired in GMA-7's horror-comedy series Ang Spooky Mo Presents Bampirella.
Other Kapuso stars who will become part of the most expensive Kapuso project to date were also introduced in yesterday's storycon. They are Glaiza de Castro, Gina Alajar, Lani Mercado, Gardo Versoza, Rochelle Pangilinan, Kristoffer Martin, AJ Dee, Rocky Salumbides, Ana Capri, Roy Alvarez and Buboy Villar.
