ABS-CBN’s newest Primetime Bida kilig-serye “Kahit Konting Pagtingin” quickly made a mark in the hearts of TV viewers as its pilot episode wins the ratings game last Monday (January 28).

From the data of Kantar Media last Monday, the kilig-serye topbilled by Angeline Quinto, Paulo Avelino, and Sam Milby garnered 25.5% national TV ratings, compared to its rival program in GMA “Forever” which only got 12%.

The newest kilig-serye "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" will make its Primetime premiere tonight! This is the debut TV series of so-called "Teleserye Theme Songs Queen" turning "Teleserye Darling" Angeline Quinto.

In the series, Angeline is playing the character of Aurora who will do everything to help her family and reach her dreams. She will meet the Ledesma brothers Adam and Lance played by Sam Milby and Paulo Avelino.

The TV series is originally slotted to take the Kapamilya Gold lineup. But due to insisted public demands and request from fans and supporters, the kilig-serye is put on the Primetime block. It replaces the timeslot of the recently concluded fantaserye "Aryana."

Angeline Quinto: The "Teleserye Theme Songs Queen" Turns "Teleserye Darling!"

 

  

Angeline Quinto is dubbed as the "Teleserye Theme Songs Queen" after singing majority of the theme songs of the different Kapamilya hit TV series. Now, she got a new title called "Teleserye Darling" as she leads in her very first Primetime TV series!

Angeline admitted that she is very blessed last 2012 and this 2013. Last year, Angeline's voice were heard in the different teleseryes after singing their theme songs. These songs even topped the hit list and became favorite songs played in the different radio stations. She was even launched in a movie playing a lead role and paired to Coco Martin via Star Cinema's romantic-comedy-drama "Born to Love You." This year, Angeline steps to another milestone in her career as she leads the newest teleserye, "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" which is also her very first TV series!

In the new soap, Angeline is paired to two of the country's hottest hunk leading men Paulo Avelino and Sam Milby. She is playing the character of Aurora, a simple girl who is pursuing to achieve her goals and help her family. 

Unlike in real life, Angeline's character in the show is not a singer. "Hindi po ako marunong kumanta dito. Pero maririnig nyo po ang malakas na boses ko sa bus kase po ako ay isang konduktora," Angeline shared. But Angeline and Aurora share same thing in real life. "Pareho po kami ni Aurora na nangarap at patuloy na nagpupursige para maabot ito," Angeline added.

When asked by the members of the press if how did Angeline received these blessings, Angeline said, "Nakukuha po 'yan sa dasal! Pinagdasal ko po itong lahat!"

  

Another fun question was asked to Angeline during the grand presscon of their teleserye. This was about her former leading man Coco Martin and her new leading man Sam Milby comparing their kisses. "Si Coco po local samantalang 'ung kay Sam imported, so dun po ako sa imported," Angeline promptly answered generating louder laughs from the audience!

Angeline's costars in the teleserye like John Lapuz and Snooky Serna even shared positive things about the young actress-singer. according to them, "Napakabait na bata niyang si Angeline at very humble and down to earth. Sana 'wag syang magbago. Ang sarap niyang katrabaho!"

Angeline is also happy that she is now working with the veteran stars in the teleserye like Snooky, Tommy Abuel, and Mylene Dizon. "Masaya po ako na katrabaho si Ms. Snooky. Bata pa lang po ako pinapanood at hinahangaan ko na po siya," Angeline expressed.

'Kahit Konting Pagtingin' Treats a Grand Presscon with a Video-Comedy Bar Setup!

"Kahit Konting Pagtingin," the newest romance-comedy TV series offering of the Kapamilya network treated the members of the press and bloggers with a videoke-comedy bar theme grand presscon, Wednesday night of January 16, 2013 at the Laffline Comedy Bar, Timog QC.

Chosen media and press people performed their special videoke number competing one another for a prestige grand prizes revealed at the end of the show.  

Right after the videoke singing competition, the event became star-studded when the three lead stars Angeline Qunito, Paulo Avelino, and Sam Milby joined the press. The three individually answered a fun Q and A portion but before that, each of them performed their special numbers! 

Angeline started singing the Aegis' "Halik." Afterwards, she humorous answered the questions from the hosts and from the press.

Angeline narrated her character in the story as Aurora. Aurora is a simple poor girl who is determined to pursue her dreams. She works as a bus conductress. According to her, she is not a singer in the soap but her voice will be loudly heard in the bus. She even shared that Aurora is similar to Angeline in real-life since both of them pursue to achieve their goals.     

Angeline compared the kiss of her teleserye leading man Sam Milby to her "Born to Love You" leading man Coco Martin. "Si Coco local, si Sam imported so dun ako sa imported," Angeline jokingly added.   

Paulo then showcased his singing talent in the program singing Parokya ni Edgar's "Gitara."  Louder screams from the audience followed showing their support to the year's Breakthrough Actor.

Paulo talked about his character in the teleserye. He is playing the character of Lance, the younger brother of Sam. Unlike his character as Nathan which is dark and serious, Lance role in the new TV series is light, fun, and kind. He is opposite of Sam's character.

Meanhile, Sam entered the stage singing his very own rendition of The Calling's "Wherever You Will Go." He appeared in a nerdy-genius look wearing an eyeglass which caught the hearts of many present on the night.

Sam revealed that there are many things inline with him this 2013. Another teleserye and a movie project will be soon coming out!

In the teleserye, Sam is playing the character of Adam, the boss in a hotel company. Adam is strict and workaholic. But, it's for us to watch out how his character will fall in love with the simple girl Aurora!

Aside from Sam, Paulo, and Angeline, the TV series also introduces two of the fresh and newest talent of Star Magic. They are Alexandra Macanan and Aljhon Lucas. Aljhon plays the younger brother of Aurora while Alexandra is Aljhon's love interest. Aljohn narrated that he even fall in line to the audience's entrance of ABS-CBN to audition for Star Magic.

This January, ABS-CBN will launch its newest romantic-comedy series titled “Kahit Konting Pagtingin,” which stars Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs Angeline Quinto together with her two dashing leading men Breakthrough Actor of 2012 Paulo Avelino and Romantic-Comedy Heartthrob Sam Milby.

According to Angeline, she is overjoyed with the blessing of having her first ever teleserye. “I am really happy because I didn’t expect that this will happen ” shared the singer-actress. “If before I’m only part of teleseryes as the singer of the theme songs, now TV viewers can watch me everyday as an actress.”

In the series, Angeline will portray the role of Aurora, a highly-spirited and hardworking lady who will do everything for the sake of her loved ones. And amid her funny adventures, Aurora will meet two guys—Lance (Paulo) and Adam (Sam)—who are bound to win her heart.

Singing champions Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto performed another duet for a theme song of another exciting movie from Star Cinema. This is for "Suddenly It's Magic" which stars for the first time the Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer and Erich Gonzales.

The music video features some of the exciting and romantic scenes of Mario and Erich. It also focuses on some of the beautiful places in Thailand and in Ilocos.
