PAGASA Weather Forecast: Tropical Storm Falcon Update - June 24, 11 p.m.


As of June 24, 11 p.m., Tropical Storm "FALCON" (MEARI) has slightly intensified as it moves away from the country.

Tropical Depression "Falcon" is estimated based on satellite and surface data at 410 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (23.5°N, 124.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph.

No public storm warning signal has been announced.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) TS "FALCON" will continue to enhance the southwest monsoon and will bring rains over Luzon and western Visayas.

Monsoon surge is expected to affect the seaboards of Luzon and western Visayas.
