The 2012 TV Series Craze Awards Winner: Xian Lim is the Leading Man of the Year!

For the second time around, the Kapamilya hunk actor Xian Lim emerged as the Leading Man of the Year here in our very own TV Series Craze Awards! Last year, Xian also grabbed the same title after leading in the teleserye "My Binondo Girl" wherein he played the character of Andy opposite Kim Chiu.    

Today, Xian is portraying the character of Liam, again opposite Kim in the hit TV series "Ina Kapatid Anak." His hunky boy-next door role made the people choose him to give the said title!

Xian got a landslide overall percentage votes of 88.81% beating the other leading men like Coco Martin (Walang Hanggan), Piolo Pascual (Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig), John Lloyd Cruz (A Beautiful Affair), Dingdong Dantes (My Beloved), Jake Cuenca (Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo), and Richard Yap (Be Careful With My Heart).   

Taking the second spot is Coco with 5.52%, the third spot is Daniel Padilla with 2.09%, and the fourth spot is Enrique Gil with 0.79%.

"Ina Kapatid Anak" is the second major teleserye of Xian in a leading role after "My Binondo Girl." Aside from this teleserye, Xian also led the Star Cinema barkada movie "The Reunion" with Enrique, Enchong Dee, and Kian Cipriano!

Kim Chiu Versus Kris Bernal: Who Looks More Male?!

 Kim Chiu and Kris Bernal, two of the Primetime Princesses of the Kapamilya and Kapuso networks were always been compared and pitted. Since when their respective careers started in showbiz, they were treated as rivals since both of them were products of reality shows and lead in their own TV series. They were also part of a rival loveteams before. Remember Kimerald (Kim-Gerald) versus AlKris (Aljur-Kris) before?! 

Now Kim and Kris were once more compared as both of them already played male roles in a TV series. Last year, Kim portrayed the character of Yuan Sy in the Primetime Bida's "My Binondo Girl" who camouflage herself as a male so that his Chinese father will accept her. This year, Kris is playing the character of Andy in the GMA's remake of the Koreanovela "Coffee Prince" wherein she is pretending to be a man in order to got a job in an all-male coffee shop to help her family!

The question goes, who between Kim Chiu and Kris Bernal effective portray the character of a man?! As they say, "sino mas gwapo at sino bagay maging lalaki sa kanila?!"

Right now Kim and Kris' teleserye is battling on Primetime. Kris is currently leading the Pinoy version of "Coffee Prince" while Kim is leading the newest Kapamilya drama TV series "Anak Kapatid Anak." And take note, the two soap operas premiered on the said date!
