"It's Showtime" Launches New Offerrings, Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta Grace the Show!



ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime” is all set for a star-studded show this Saturday (Jan 26) for its opening salvo to introduce its all-new segments with exciting prizes for its loyal ‘madlang people.’

Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta will add glitter and unleash their inner crazy in the comedic skit “Sine Mo ‘To,” while Journey vocalist and Pinoy pride Arnel Pineda will render a world-class performance.

Don’t miss the relaunch of the “Arte Mo” segment and its new P1 million jackpot round with celebrity players from the cast of “Aryana,” “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan,” “Luv U,” “Angelito: Batang Ama,” and celebity mentors Joy Viado, Cacai Bautista, KitKat, and Sexbomb Girls.

Watch out for Anne Curtis’ spectacular futuristic production number, as well as the first weekly finals of the “Bida Kapamilya” celebrity edition that features celebrities and their own families delivering explosive and entertaining performances. It will be staged on Mondays and Tuesdays and will have its weekly finals on Saturdays.


The original version, meanwhile, involves celebrity mentors and will continue to showcase the fun and creativity of ordinary Filipino families on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and in weekly finals on Fridays.

Aside from this big change, “It’s Showtime” also opens a grand competition to all impersonators in “Kalokalike,” a search for people who can best imitate their popular showbiz idols based on appearance, behavior, and performance.

‘Madlang people’ also face a new challenge in “Makina Matibay,” which was already introduced this week, where a group of people competes with a machine to determine which of them does better certain mechanical tasks such as scraping coconuts and crushing ice.

Kuya Kim Atienza, meanwhile, will throw a blazing birthday bash on Thursday (Jan 24) as he battles with balladeers Dingdong Avanzado and Raymond Lauchenco in a singing showdown of 80’s hits.

Richard Gomez and Robin Padilla Fight Over Pokwang in 'Todamax!'


Pokwang is having the time of her life as she is constantly being paired with handsome actors. In the recently released movie “24/7 In Love”, she is paired up with Sam Milby and this time in “Toda Max”, she’ll have two gentlemen wooing her, Richard Gomez and Robin Padilla.

“I’m so beautiful,” the veteran comedian said laughing. “Just look at my on-screen partners who look even more handsome because they’re paired up with me,” she joked. When asked if she’s searching for the same traits in a guy, she said that the most important aspect she wants in a man is their sincerity. “I want a man who will love me for who I am,” she said.

Meanwhile, for the last episode of the sitcom’s month-long anniversary celebration, Richard Gomez, former mainstay in the Kapamilya comedy show “Palibhasa Lalake” will visit Beverly Gil’s St. to serve as Lady G’s (Pokwang) ‘Prince Charming’ when the latter gets into trouble. Because of his bravery, Lady G will help Ricky (Goma) find a job. On the other hand, Tol (Robin) will feel suspicious of Ricky’s true intentions. To protect Lady G, Tol will begin wooing Lady G as well. Ricky and Tol find themselves competing for the rich woman’s attention.

Dawn Zulueta Plays a Policewoman in 'TodaMax!'

It seems that the well-loved characters of Marco and Emily of the phenomenal hit TV series "Walang Hanggan" will reunite in the country's No. 1 sitcom "TodaMax!"

Yes, aside from  Richard Gomez, his better-half in the said soap joins the gang this Saturday! Ms. Dawn Zulueta is also one of the special guests in the sitcom. And she is playing the character of a policewoman!

Photos of the 'Walang Hanggan' Concert in the Big Dome!

 Because of the success of the Philippine's phenomenal hit TV series "Walang Hanggan,"  a special concert dubbed as "Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat" was held in the Big Dome, Sunday night of October 21, 2012.

Highlights of the event include the kissing scene of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta, the Gangnam Style of Helen Gamboa with Vice Ganda, and the revelations of the mainstars like Joem Bascon in killing the character of Susan Roces, the snapping scenes of Melissa Ricks with Dawn and Eula, and the marriage of Coco Martin and Julia Montes!  

Well, if you cannot yet get over with the said prestige event in the Big Dome, here are the exciting photos of the event. Let's take a glance on them and reminisce and moments. Here they go:




















5,000 screaming fans recently filled Smart Araneta Coliseum for the grand ‘Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat’ thanksgiving concert of ABS-CBN's phenomenal TV drama “Walang Hanggan.”

Leading the celebration are the series’ lead stars namely Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Helen Gamboa, Susan Roces, Melissa Ricks, Joem Bascon, Paulo Avelino, Julia Montes, and Coco Martin. Completing the powerhouse cast are top-caliber actors who became a huge part of the ten-month phenomenal sucess of the show including Nonie Buencamino, Ogie Diaz, Arlene Muhlach, Eda Nolan, John Medina, Shamaine Buencamino, Josh Ivan Morales, Valerie Concepcion, Dante Rivero, Richard Yap, and Eula Valdes.

Aside from the romantic chemistry of the event's hosts Dawn and Richard, the whole cast treated their fans with non-stop memorable production numbers featuring the special tell-all interviews of Melissa, Joem, and Paulo with the ultimate multimedia star Toni Gonzaga; Susan and Helen with the unkabogable TV host-actor Vice Ganda, which brought the crowd screaming when ‘Doña Margaret’ had a ‘Gangnam Style’ dance showdown with Vice; Dawn and Richard with the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, where CharDawn fans successfully asked their idols for a kiss; and  Coco and Julia with the Asia’s King of Talk Boy Abunda, where the two admitted that they will agree to marry each other if the world is about end.

Aside from the cast, also in the momentous event were world-class singers who sang the "Walang Hanggan" official theme songs including Gary Valenciano, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Juris, Aiza Seguerra, Bryan Termulo, Bugoy Drilon, and Liezel Garcia. The well-loved soundtracks were played during the concert by the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra led by Maestro Gerard Salonga.

Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta's Wedding and Honeymoon Scenes Trend on Twitter!

  
 


Just when everyone thought it would not happen anymore, the eternal love team of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta finally kissed in ABS-CBN's top-rating drama series "Walang Hanggan" as they treated TV viewers with back-to-back-to-back romantic surprises, from the wedding to the honey moon where they had several kissing scenes. 

According to the data of Kantar Media last Thursday (September 27), the said episode of "Walang Hanggan" garnered 36.5% national TV rating, compared to its rival program in GMA "Luna Blanca" which only got 15%. 

Because of Marco (Richard) and Emily's (Dawn) wedding, kissing and bed scenes, various emotional reactions from the TV viewers flooded the popular microblogging site Twitter, which immediately made the hashtag #DawnAndRichardWeddingThePhenomenalKiss a nationwide trending topic. 

Meanwhile, the plot of "Walang Hanggan" intensifies even more now that Marco and Emily are finally married. Will they finally live a happy life together now that Miguel (Nonie Buencamino) is gone? 'Walang Hanggan' Lead Stars Campaign for Anti-Piracy!


The lead characters of the Philippine's Phenomenal hit TV series led the Optical Media Board (OMB) anti-piracy campaign.

The cast namely Dawn Zulueta, Richard Gomez, Paulo Avelino, Joem Bascon, Julia Montes, and Coco Martin join the OMB Chairman Ronnie Ricketts in the advocacy.

The much-awaited wedding proposal of Marco (Richard Gomez) to Emily (Dawn Zulueta) in ABS-CBN’s top-rating drama series “Walang Hanggan” recently made TV viewers fall in love again with the timeless Richard-Dawn onscreen partnership.

Based on the data of Kantar Media last Monday (September 24), the said episode of “Walang Hanggan” garnered 36.6% national TV ratings, compared to its rival program in GMA “Luna Blanca” which only got 16.1%.

Aside from the ratings, the hashtag #WalangHanggan also became a nationwide trending topic in the popular microblogging site Twitter due to the numerous tweets of TV viewers about the touching scene between Marco and Emily. The Twitter timeline were flooded with positive tweets like: “@PrincessBeron: I forgot that the scenes during the proposal were scripted. It was beautiful, it didn’t look like reel #WalangHanggan;” “@imzulsaligan: #WalangHanggan has been on air for almost 9 months. This series really made a mark in the hearts of TV viewers from the very beginning;” and “@babesmared: Does anybody know a greater adjective for romantic? Because that is how #CharDawn and #WalangHanggan made us feel tonight! Thank you!”

Meanwhile, Dawn continues to captivate the public not only with her acting prowess but also with her classic beauty as she was recently hailed as the ‘Most Beautiful Pinay’ by the popular entertainment blog site Starmometer.com. Based on the website’s final tally, the “Walang Hanggan” lead actress garnered a total of 129,863 votes from Facebook and Twitter. Following Dawn in the list are other Kapamilya leading ladies such as Angel Locsin, Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Jodi Sta. Maria, Kristine Hermosa, and Toni Gonzaga.
