Simple Plan Live in Manila Concert
World famous Canadian pop punk band Simple Plan is in Manila for the third time to stage a one-night concert called "Get Your Heart On" as part of their world tour to promote their fourth studio album of the same title.
Happening tonight at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, Simple Plan members Charles-Andre "Chuck" Comeau, Jean-Francois "Jeff" Stinco and Sebastian Lefebvre are expected to perform their hit songs "Welcome to My Life," "Untitled," "Perfect" and ""When I'm Gone".
Tickets are available at Ticketnet outlets. Ticket Prices (excludes 6% Ticketnet charge) are: Php4,500 for Patron VIP, Php 3,500 for Patron, Php 3,000 for Lower Box, Php 2,000 for Upper Box A, Php 1,000 for Upper Box B and Php500 for General Admission.
Aside from Manila, Simple Plan also performed at the following Asian territories:
January 6 – Yu Gong Yi Shan – Beijing, China
January 7 – The Mixing Room & Muse – Shanghai, China
January 8 – Taipei University Auditorium – Taipei, Taiwan
January 10 – HKAWE – Hong Kong, China
"Get Your Heart On!" the album features collaboration with several artists like Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Natasha Bedingfield, K'naan and All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth.
Simple Plan first visited Manila in March 2005 with pop punk princess Avril Lavigne. They returned to Manila in August 2008 with New Found Glory and Jamie Scott.
