Showbiznest witnessed live the announcement of the first ever Grand Winner of Star Power: Sharon's Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar at the Ynares Sports Complex in Antipolo, Rizal.
Akiko, K-La, Angeline, Krissel and Monica competed for the last time in the finals but only one remained to deserve the title, and that is the crowd's favorite Angeline Quinto of Sampaloc, Manila.

There were 3 rounds of competitions where one should be eliminated after each round. Five finalists performed the song of their choice on the first round but Akiko failed to deliver and therefore got eliminated first.
On the second round, the four remaining were required to perform a song picked by the judges. To the surprise of everyone, K-La Rivera was the one eliminated.
Monica Sacay, Angeline Quinto and Krissel Valdez each performed an original song from Star Records on the final round. Those songs are original composition from Star Records and will become their first digital single and can be downloaded through http://starrecords.ph.
Angeline Quinto, who sounded like and sang mostly songs recorded by Regine Velasquez, as expected, was declared the winner. Krisell came in 2nd while Monica was 3rd.
Angeline took home 1 million Pesos, an SUV car, entertainment showcase from Sony, diamond jewelries from JMK Jewelries, a recording contract from Star Records and a 1-year talent management contract from Star Circle.
The five finalists, as announced by Sharon Cuneta will also become part of ASAP Rocks beginning Sunday, February 27, 2011.
