Zaijan Jaranilla Teaches Us the Value of Contentment in 'Wansapanataym!'

Kapamilya child wonder Zaijian Jaranillla will teach fellow kids that nothing good will come out from doing bad things as he teaches the value of contentment in the continuation of his "Wansapanataym" special this Saturday (February 2).

In the episode ‘Nicolas Layas,’ Zaijian takes on the role of Nicolas, a young boy who grew up with a wealthy lifestyle.

When his parents’ business went bankrupt, Nicolas’ family was forced to work on a tight budget and transfer into a much smaller house. Because of this, Nicolas felt bad and decided to run away from home, thinking that he will be much better off away from his family.

In the end, will Nicolas learn to be contented with what his family has and realize that running away from home is a bad thing to do?

Together with Zaijian in the ‘Nicolas Layas’ episode are Smokey Manaloto, Katya Santos, and Boboy Garovillo. It was written by Raymond Diamzon and directed by Jon ‘Sponky’ Villarin.

Zaijan Jaranilla is "Gagam-Buboy" in 'Wansapanataym' This Saturday!

The 2012 TV Series Craze Awards Child Wonder of the Year winner Zaijan Jaranilla will grace the succeeding episodes of the top-rating fantasy anthology "Wansapanataym" beginning this Saturday.  

After the success of his top-rating primetime TV dramas in ABS-CBN like "May Bukas Pa," Ikaw ay Pag-ibig," and "Lorenzo's Time," Kapamilya child wonder Zaijan is set to return on the small screen this Saturday (January 5) to share inspiration and teach important life lessons to the whole family via his own "Wansapanataym" special. 

In an episode titled 'Gagam-Buboy,' Zaijan will play the role of Buboy, a young boy who is fond of playing with spiders. 

Will Buboy realize the importance of animals and insects when he is punished to become a human spider because of his bad attitide? 

Together with Zaijan in the 'Gagam-Buboy' episode are Yayo Aguila, John Judelei Junio, and Gerald Pesigan. It is written by Yam Tangco-Domingo and directed by Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.

The 2012 TV Series Craze Awards Winner: Zaijan Jaranilla is the Child Wonder of the Year!

Zaijan Jaranilla is hailed as this 2012's Child Wonder of the Year here in our very own TV Series Craze Awards.  

Zaijan made a successful TV series comeback via Primetime Bida's "Lorenzo's Time" wherein he played the character of a 40-year old child. He even one of the lead cast of the Star Cinema movie "24/7 in Love" together with his female counterpart Xyriel Ann Manabat. 

Zaijan vested the other child stars like Bugoy Cariño, Jillian Ward, Yogo Singh, and Mona Louise Rey who also lead in their own TV series this year. Zaijan received an overall percentage votes of 52.16%.

Piolo Pascual Plays a Challenging Role and Forms a Love Triangle Between Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Ann Manabay in '24/7 In Love!'

 

 “It’s all about love being 24/7 in love and every minute, every day there’s love in the air, kaniya-kaniyang storya ng pagmamahal.” That is how Piolo Pascual describes the upcoming Star Cinema offering in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Star Magic, “24/7 In Love.”

A true labor of love, Piolo says the movie is a celebration of Star Magic’s growing family in its 20 years of producing home-grown talents for ABS-CBN. “It was timely because we’re celebrating 20 years of Star Magic and kami bilang magkakapatid sa Star Magic, we wanna be able to have more fun and it’s not always about work, so we look forward to this. It’s anticipated because magkakasama kami, so nung pinresent siya sa akin I didn’t think twice about accepting it.”

Piolo shares the limelight in one of the episodes with child wonders Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat, whom he has worked with in the teleserye “Noah.” Piolo is Pipoy, a 35-year-old mentally challenged man who lives in an orphanage and is happy spending his days with his best friend, 10-year-old Jomar. However, their friendship is shaken when new girl Ayie, played by Xyriel, enters the picture.

For Piolo, playing Pipoy is his most challenging role to date. “For me it’s my most challenging role. Akalain mo ba naman na at my age gaganap ako na 7 years old at ka-love team ko si Xyriel and ka-love triangle ko si Zaijian ‘di ba?” he reveals with a laugh. “I level with them. I level with Xyriel and Zaijian. Nakikipagkulitan ako sa set, mas madali kasi walang worries eh. Bata kasi, walang problema, so naisip ko habang nagshu-shoot ako, sabi ko, ‘sarap pala maging bata kasi wala kang iniisip na problema, trabaho ka lang, acting ka lang.’ Ganun lang pala kasimple.”

Zaijan and Xyriel also find working with their Kuya Piolo a lot of fun. “Masaya pong ka-eksena si Kuya Piolo. Magaling, mabait, at saka pag sa eksena focused talaga,” Zaijan says of his co-star. “Nagkukulitan po kami and inaasar ko po siya na siya si Budoy hehe,” Xyriel shares, even adding that her character has a super crush on Piolo.

For the kids, their episode has a very simple message to the audience. “Maging mabuting magkaibigan, huwag magseselos saka laging magbibigayan.”

ABS-CBN’s recently concluded Primetime Bida drama series “Lorenzo’s Time” ended on a high note as its final episode on October 5 garnered 27.8% national TV ratings. It trounced the farewell episode of its rival program in GMA “One True Love” which only got 16.9% national TV ratings. 

Aside from the ratings game, the show also won the hearts of the netizens as hashtag ‘#LorenzosTime’ became a nationwide top trending topic in the popular microblogging site Twitter, where emotional tweets flooded about the touching final moments of Enzo (Zaijan Jaranilla) with his loved ones.

The finale week of ABS-CBN’s top-rating Primetime Bida drama series “Lorenzo’s Time” is all set for its ‘timeless finale’ that is filled with inspiration and life lessons. The said teleserye, which is topbilled by Zaijan Jaranilla and Carmina Villaroel, will air its last episode this Friday (October 5).

 Zaijan said that he is grateful to all the TV viewers who joined the three-month journey of his character, Enzo. “Thank you for all the support. I hope you’ve learned some important lessons in life through Enzo’s story,” he said. 

Meanwhile, Carmina shared that there are still a lot of surprises in the last few nights of their series. “The final week is filled with revelations. Watch out as to how Enzo will spend his remaining time with his loved ones.”

Carmina Villaroel Feels Sad Over 'Lorenzo's Time' Finale!

Actress-TV host Carmina Villaroel recently admitted that she is saddened with the approaching finale of her top-rating primetime drama series “Lorenzo’s Time,” which she co-stars with ABS-CBN’s child wonder, Zaijan Jaranilla.

"I’m really sad that it’s ending. But I’m glad and very thankful that through this show, I was starred with Zaijan,” said Carmina who values “Lorenzo’s Time” as it is her first teleserye since she returned to ABS-CBN. "When I saw Zaijan in 'May Bukas Pa,' I truly wished that I’ll have the chance to work with him. So when I received the offer to be part of 'Lorenzo's Time,' I just said, 'it’s a dream come true."

Carmina confessed how she is amazed with Zaijan’s talent as an actor. "He is one-of-a-kind. His style of acting breaks through your heart, you’ll easily get carried away with his emotions. His talent is just pure," she shared.

Now that "Lorenzo's Time" goes down to its last week, the plot continues to thicken as Enzo’s rare disease is back. How will his brother Archie (James Blanco) and his bestfriend Kathy (Carmina) help him get through this ordeal? Will Enzo be cured or will he die in the end?

"Lorenzo's Time" will air its final episode on October 5.
