Angel Locsin Back as 'Darna' in the Movie?!

Everybody is truly excited to see Angel fly again as "Darna" since this character truly fits her. Now that ABS-CBN acquired the rights to air this famous Mars Ravelo's creation and Angel is already a Kapamilya talent, many were truly requesting the network to give again the role to the one and only Angel Locsin!

Reports said that the new "Darna" will be seen on the movie this 2013. And it's almost 75% confirmed that Angel may reprise the said role. See how Angel retrieves her sexy figure now which is also a sign that she may wear again the costume which putted her on great stardom!

Rumors also said that this new "Darna' movie is a sequel of the "Darna" TV series aired last 2005 in the Kapuso station. Hence, there are posibilities that Dennis Trillo who played Efren, the love interest of Angel in the said TV series and Alessandra De Rosi who portrayed Valentina would also be part of the movie.

Others said that this new "Darna" movie to be released by Star Cinema is the remake of Vilma Santos' "Lipad Darna Lipad" and is not a sequel of the previous series.

Is Angel Locsin the ABS-CBN's Choice to Portray 'Darna' in their Network?!

Since  last year after ABS-CBN acquired the rights to air the different hit Mars Ravelo's creations, the Kapamilya actress who will wear the Darna costume is still a big question mark! People then were casting their bet actress to portray the most coveted role in Philippine movie and TV.

But among all the Kapamilya actresses, the name Angel Locsin is still the loudest! Many clues from the different social media of the network were pinpointing Angel who already gave the best justice to the role of the famous Pinay superhero on TV years ago.

Even the "Darna" version which either a movie or another TV series that ABS-CBN will show is not yet confirmed. But, rumors were saying that this will be a movie version like "Lipad Darna Lipad" which the Star for All Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos played in the 70's.

Angel Locsin Returns as 'Darna' in the Movie!

Sounds so exciting...! The long wait is over! Finally, the most coveted role of the Philippine's very famous Pinay Superhero is given back to no other than Ms. ANGEL LOCSIN!

Yes, Angel will once again fly as "Darna" but this time in a movie! This will be Star Cinema's huge upcoming project giving their very own adaptation of Mars Ravelos hit comic creation.

The good news was confirmed just this Tuesday by an insider from Star Cinema.

Before the revelation of the actress to portray the new "Darna" in ABS-CBN, different names of Kapamilya actresses including Angel came out. Some of them were Cristine Reyes, Anne Curtis, Iza Calzado, KC Concepcion, Sarah Geronimo, K9im Chiu, and Jessy Mendiola. But among all of them, the name of Cristine Reyes was loudly heard to reprise the said character. Until finally, it was confirmed that it's Angel!

Now that Angel Locsin is ABS-CBN's newest "Darna" in a movie, who do you think will play the character of her main villain Valentina?! How about her little brother Ding?! We'll wait and see!

Meanwhile the playdate of this exciting heroine movie is not yet reveal. Preferably, it will be shown early next year since Angel is also set to conquer the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival via her movie with Dingdong Dantes!
