Indiana State Fair Tragedy 4 Dead, 40 Injured



Indiana State Fair which was supposed to be a big fun event turned into nightmare when a strong winds caused the stage built-up for the outdoor concert to collapse, trapping, injuring and killing concert-goers at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand at the Indiana State Fair, shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011.



Indiana State Police confirmed at least four dead and about 40 were hurt after a stage collapsed during a storm at the Indiana State Fair Saturday night at the fairgrounds in Indianapolis.



Reports said that singer Sara Bareilles had just finished her set and no one was performing at the time. The crowd was just waiting for Sugarland to take the stage when wind gust blew through making the whole stand collapsed.
