Kim Zolciak of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ and Fiance Kroy Biermann Welcome a Baby Boy

Star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Kim Zolciak gives birth to a baby boy.

Kim Zolciak and her fiance Kroy Biermann of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcson, announced the birth of their son on Twitter on Tuesday.

“@biermann71 and I are happy to announce the birth of our son today Kroy Jagger Biermann is healthy & beautiful,” Kim Tweeted.

“We are so in love!”, she added.

Kroy senior also tweeted his joy saying, “Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes!! KJ is doing so well along with momma @Kimzolciak Thank you God!!!”

Kim Zolchiak started to appear on Bravo’s highest-rating show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2008 which originally stars 5 African-American women. But after the producers met the country songstress, they were so impressed they gave her a spot on the show.

Zolciak was shown meeting Biermann at a charity event on an episode of the said reality program last August 2010.

'Balloon Boy' For Sale at $1-Million

The balloon made famous back in October 2009 because the owner, Richard Heene and his wife Mayumi Heene who served 20 days in jail for filing a false report and attempting to influence a public servant, told authorities a lie that their 6-year-old son floated away in that helium balloon only to find out that the boy was only hiding in the family's garage, is now up for sale.




It is currently posted on BalloonBoyFlyingSaucer and the asking price? $1 million.

Richard and Mayumi Heene have made a video saying they'll auction off the inflatable to raise money for Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief.

TMZ.com posted the said video in which the two say they'll work with California lawyer Perry Rausher on the auction. Rausher confirmed to the Coloradoan newspaper that he is working with the Heenes who are not allowed to profit from the balloon incident.

"X-Men: First Class" Opens Today in Metro Manila Theaters

X-Men: First Class is a new beginning for the X-Men. The story is by Sheldon Turner, an Academy Award nominee for co-scripting Up in the Air, and Bryan Singer – whose work as the director of the first two films in the series, X-Men and X2: X-Men United, was hailed by critics and audiences around the world for their skillful and seamless blending of drama, action, scale and social-political themes. Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls Game Hit High on National TV Ratings

Pinoy basketball fans were in the front row as they witnessed the hardcourt showdown between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls for the Eastern Conference Finals last Friday, May 27, live on ABS-CBN, where the Miami Heat took the victory.

Based on data from Kantar Media, ABS-CBN’s live telecast hit a national TV rating of 14.4%, which more than quadrupled NBA’s 3% cumulative rating in last year’s conference finals games when it was still airing on a different free-to-air channel.

In North Luzon, this talked about NBA game garnered an average rating of 17.8% while it rated 19.7% in South Luzon.

The Visayas and Mindanao also proved to have an NBA following as it hit an average rating of 20.5% and 21.7% respectively.

NBA fans are very much excited to watch the NBA Finals games between West Coast’s Dallas Mavericks and East Coast’s Miami Heat. You can once again watch it live on ABS-CBN with a same day replay on Studio 23.

The first game started yesterday and Miami Heat scored the first win. Will the Dallas Mavericks catch up and dominate the second round? Watch it this Friday, June 3, at 9 AM.

Meanwhile, the third game will be airing an hour earlier on Monday, May 6, at 8 AM while the fourth game will air back at 9 AM on Wednesday, June 8.

Manny Pacquiao Drops Charges Against Oscar de la Hoya and Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions

Boxing champ and Sarangani Congressman Manny Pacquiao has dropped his defamation lawsuit against Oscar de la Hoya and his Golden Boy promotions chief Richard Schaefer.

Pacquiao filed the case in 2009 over dela Hoya's allegations that the pound-for-pound boxing champion used performance-enhancing drugs in all his fights.

Under the terms of their settlement, de la Hoya and Schaefer issued a statement and apology to Pacquiao, which reads:

Richard Schaefer and Oscar de la Hoya, on behalf of themselves and Golden Boy Promotions, wish to make it crystal clear that we never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using any performance enhancing drugs, and further state that we do not have any evidence whatsoever of such use," their statement said.

Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest fighters of all time, and we apologize if anyone construed our prior remarks as in any way claiming or even suggesting that Manny uses or has used performance enhancing drugs."

However, Pacquiao still intend to pursue his legal battle against boxer Floyd Mayweather, who was also named in the former's original 2009 lawsuit where he claimed that Mayweather, his father Floyd Sr. and uncle Roger along with de la Hoya and Schaefer conducted a campaign to make people think he is using PED while negotiations for a possible Pacquiao-Mayweather bout is in progress.

"Hangover 2” Grosses $205-M Worldwide, Opens in Philippines June 8

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “The Hangover Part II” woke up to staggering box office receipts as the blockbuster comedy grossed $205 million worldwide as of May 30, the fastest of any comedy to surpass $200-M benchmark.

The hit film is expected to continue its global success when it opens in the Philippines on June 8, arriving in cinemas in its original and uncut, R-18-rated version.

In the U.S., the Todd Phillips-directed comedy raked in more than $135 million dollars in its first five days in release, smashing multiple records along the way. “The Hangover Part II” broke the three-day, four-day and five-day opening records for a comedy film opening of any rating. Additionally, the film shattered both the Memorial Day weekend record and the Friday-to-Monday holiday record for an R-rated film, with a total of $103.5 million, more than doubling the previous records.

Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution, remarked, “We could not imagine a better way to kick off our summer and, based on audience reactions and strong word-of-mouth, we expect this ‘Hangover’ to last throughout the summer. Cheers to Todd Phillips and the ‘Wolfpack,’ who are back in a big way and who made ‘The Hangover Part II’ an experience no one will forget.”

In addition, “The Hangover Part II,” which was released in 40 territories topped the box office with $70.05 million on 5,193 screens through May 30.

Lady Gaga "Born This Way" Album Sells 1.1 Million Copies in First Week

LOS ANGELES - Flamboyant pop star Lady Gaga has sold more than one million copies of her new album to top the U.S. pop chart for the first time, according to sales data published on Tuesday by Billboard magazine.

Fans scooped up 1.11 million copies of her much-hyped release "Born This Way" during the week ended May 29, with a bit of help from a hugely popular 99-cent promotion by online retailer Amazon.com Inc .

It marks the biggest first-week sales total since rapper 50 Cent's "The Massacre" debuted to 1.14 million copies in March 2005. The last album to break the million mark was country starlet Taylor Swift's "Speak Now," which started with 1.01 million copies last November. Boy band 'N Sync holds the first-week record with 2.4 million copies for its 2000 album "No Strings Attached."

Billboard estimated that Amazon downloads accounted for upward of 440,000 downloads of "Born This Way." Overall digital downloads totaled a record-breaking 662,000 copies, Billboard said.

Lady Gaga records for Interscope Records, a unit of Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group. Her 2008 debut album "The Fame" peaked at No. 2 and has sold 4.2 million copies to date in the United States. An eight-track follow-up EP titled "The Fame Monster" reached No. 5 and has sold 1.5 million copies.
